What is CADA?
CADA Dental Assistant Training is a program developed for individuals looking to begin a career as a Dental Assistant. Students will gain the knowledge and skills to become a dental assistant, working directly with the Dentist in general dental procedures.
CADA Consulting is available for established dental teams looking to continue their staff’s education, knowledge and dentistry skills. CADA Consulting helps to increase your clinics productivity and efficiency.
What are the prerequisites for attending CADA Dental Assistant Training ?
This program is open to all individuals 18 and over looking to start a career in the dental field. Must have a positive outlook on life and open to constructive feedback. Highschool transcripts and GED are not required for CADA, however most dental clinics will require that documentation for the clinic portion.
Do I have to submit my high school transcripts/proof of GED?
Highschool transcripts or GED are not required for CADA but most Dental Facilities may require them for their clinic

What is the admission process?
After your application has been approved, you will go through the enrollment process of selecting your course, pay the required fees. You will then receive a detailed email displaying course information including, times, materials and syllabus.
How much is tuition?
CADA Dental Assistant Training Program- $3,495 for the 10-week training program
Is there a payment plan?
CADA tuition payment plan requires 60% of tuition payment received at time of enrollment and the final 40% of tuition paid in full one week before courses begins. There is a Non refundable fee of $1,000.
How do I know if I am accepted?
After review of your application, you will recieve enrollment information if you have been accepted. This begins the enrollment process. Once courses have been scheduled and your payment is processed, a welcome letter will be emailed to you with course information, schedule and syllabus. If your desired course if full you will be placed on a wait list for the next training rep begins.
When do classes start?
CADA offers classes in Spring, Fall and Winter. Sprint classes typically begin after Labor Day. Winder Classes begin after the New Year. Spring Classes begin early April. All classes are 10 weeks long. For a full list of our current course offerings, view our course schedule on our home page.
How may weeks is the dental assistant program?
The CADA Dental Assistant Training Program is 10 weeks.
How long are the classes?
Weekday courses meet from6:00 P.M. –9:30 P.M, 3.5 hours , 2 days a week – Mondays and Wednesdays
Weekend courses meet from 8 A.M- 3:30 P.M, 7.0 hours with a 30 min break, 1 day a week – Saturday
Can I use my college savings account Edvest Wisconsin 529 at CADA?
Unfortunately you cannot use your Edvest Wisconsin 529 savings account.
What does tuition cover?
Your CADA tuition covers your dental assistant workbooks, learning assessments, clinic placement and certificate of course completion
Do I get hands on experience in a clinic?
Yes, you will be placed at a dental facility to complete 80 hours of clinical work
Are lecture and clinic portion at same facility?
No, you will be assigned to a separate dental facility to complete your 80 clinical hours. These 80 hours are scheduled and based on your availability at the time.
Who teaches the classes?
Classes are taught by highly skilled and qualified dental assistants. With decades of experience in general dentistry, and expanded dental functions, our instructors are a wealth of information and knowledge to help you gain the skills and knowledge needed to suceed.
What is a typical class schedule?
Classes will consist of lectures, hands on learning.
What if I miss a day of class?
The program is only 10- weeks long, so every day is important. If for some reason you are unable to attend a class, it is your responsibility to follow up with the instructor.
What do I learn?
You will learn all of the skills of a chair side dental assistant needs. Please review syllabus for further details and keep in mind, the dental field is always changing and evolving so we will keep our lessons current with all the best practices.
Is there a final exam or testing?
Yes, there will be a final exam the last week of class before clinicals begin. You must pass 80% of the exam to continue into clinicals as you would be working with real patients and dentists.
Once completed does CADA give me a certification?
Yes, you will receive a Certificate of course completion from CADA displaying completion of the Dental Assistant Training Program
Is CADA accredited?
CADA is not accredited as it is not required in the State of Wisconsin to be registered or certified to be a Dental Assistant
Is there a state certification or any tests I must take after CADA class?
There is no state certification required to work in the state of Wisconsin. Upon completion and passing your final exam, you will proceed to clinicals and then you are able to work.
How soon after completing CADA Dental Assistant Training, when can I work?
ASAP! Yes, immediately you can work as a dental assistant. There is no certificaion, license or registration needed to work as a dental assistant in Wisconsin
What are your COVID precautions?
We follow all current CDC requirements. Mask and vaccination are a choice in your discretion. Masks will be required during clinicals and hands on training.
